Jimpa LGBTQ+ Community Screening

Online LGBTQ+ Palliative Care Workshop

ACON’s Taking Control: Palliative Care and End of Life Program and Life Rites Funerals are proud to co-host a free community screening of Jimpa for Pride Fest. The screening will be followed be an afternoon tea and community discussion exploring topics around death and dying. Join us for an afternoon of curiosity and connection.

Funny, accessible, full of sadness and joy, and with a wonderful multi-generational cast, Jimpa is a celebration of LGBTQ+ culture. It brings a queer family to screen, taking a nuanced look at love, loss, and end-of-life wishes.
