Grief is a universal and a deeply personal human experience that profoundly shapes us and our lives. This one day in person workshop offers participants ways to come to understand loss and grief. What it takes from us and, in turn, what it may give us.
This gentle informed and engaging workshop is open to all LGBTQ+ people 18 years and over, PLHIV (people living with H.I.V), Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, and Multicultural communities.
We experience grief and loss in relation to our generational and cultural understandings and practices. This workshop offers an opportunity to share our knowledges of living with loss through the stages of our lives, and to develop skills and practices to better understand our grief in ways that can support us and our communities.
Personal losses will not be explored in depth. This workshop is a place to bring your love and loss and refine or discover ways of being with them anew.
Lunch provided. Please expect follow up contact from our ACON and Life Rites team after registering your interest.
